Bishopstone Church Services

The normal pattern of services for each month is:

First Sunday, 11.00am:   Morning Prayer
This service offers an informal style of worship with singing, a Bible reading, talk and prayer lasting about 45 minutes.

Second Sunday
There is no service at Bishopstone on the second Sunday and you are invited to join a congregation in one of our neighbouring villages.

Third Sunday, 9.30am:   Parish Communion followed by coffee and biscuits
This service follows a traditional pattern of Anglican worship using familiar contemporary Common Worship liturgy with hymns and organ music and lasts about an hour.

Fourth Sunday, 11.00am:   Parish Communion
This service follows a traditional pattern of Anglican worship using familiar contemporary Common Worship liturgy with hymns and organ music and lasts about an hour.

If there is a fifth Sunday in the month, there will be a combined Team Service in one of the valley churches.

If you are joining our worship for the first time, we hope that you will introduce yourself to one of the clergy or congregation. Children are very welcome, so please do not worry if any child with you becomes restless. There is a small area for children at the back of the church with drawing and reading materials for you to use as you wish.
